"Many years ago, Matt Horton was recommended by a close friend where he had done some work. Since that time here is a sample of the projects that he has completed.
- Added a screened porch to the rear of the house.
- Enclosed the carport, added a front walkway, front steps and a railing on the front porch. This greatly improved the appearance and increased the value of our home.
- Added an arbor on the patio and entrance gate.
- Repaired a section of the roof due to a leak.
- Completed reconstruction of the area that was demolished by a tree falling on that portion of the house in April 2009. This was a major project.
Immediately after the tree damage in April 2009, I called Matt Horton for his help in covering and securing the damaged area. He was here within hours and provided the assistance required. We requested an estimate for the necessary construction. After a short discussion, for purpose understanding, we accepted the proposal that was well in line with the funds offered by the insurance company. We obtained only one proposal which is usually not a recommended practice for a job of this size. We did this because we know

"My husband and I had a dilemma as to what to do with a somewhat built-in area in our family room which was a fireplace and an area for the TV with shelves underneath. I wanted more shelving above the TV and storage underneath. The fireplace area was too small for the scale of the room and not at all an attractive focal point.
We hired Matt and his crew to come up with something appealing. They gutted the entire area and made a beautiful one piece combination with the fireplace and book case. It was highlighted with gorgeous moldings and slate around the fireplace. We couldn't have been more pleased.
